Friends (WIP)

Fluttershy - One of the first ponies to believe in him, and stand up for him. One could set their watch by the spirit's Tuesday Tea with the gentle pony, for he is always on time for tea.

Princess Luna - Though he rarely speaks to the Princess he carries a respect for her as unique as is his respect for Celestia. They were worthy foes in olden times, but now he considers the princess a plucky rival. He tries hard to ruffle her feathers when the mood is right.

Princess Celestia - He always had always a strange relationship with the princess of the sun. Generally theirs is a game of wit and and silent sass that end up with Discord in the awkward end. While he'd never admit it: sometimes her humor leaves him taken aback, surprised by her capacity to not falter under his tomfoolery.

While various events have made the Draconequus what he is today, there are many other mysteries to his personality. A few of my headcanons are fan-based some are my personal ones, but it is what makes my Discord, mine.

•Discord can write Old and New Equestrian. He can't read Old Equestrian well anymore, can't read New Equestrian well, which leads him to making a lot of messy grammatical errors.

•Uses both Chaos Magic and Transmutation Magic. He also dabbles in Time Magic, and Celestial Magic.

•Discord is not an ordinary, nor extraordinary creature. He is the embodiment of chaos magic. Whatever he had been, he will never be again. Some days he says he is half pony and dragon, others he will behave like a manticore and purr, others he behaves as a goat and eats your fine porcelain. Some days he declares he is a draconequus, and others he is the best pony. Discord changes, constantly, this he is never the same in regards to what he is, nor is there a limit to what he can be.

•Being everchanging the spirit enacts dietary behaviors of this or that. When he decides he is part pony he can survive easily on vegetables, and when part dragon he can digest stone and gems without balking or getting sick from it. Being used to eating pony food, it is generally all he eats besides the fine china. He dislikes the taste of gems, so cannot use dragon's fire.

•Discord knew Celestia and Luna in their youth. He seems to have attempted to build a friendship with them, but his unsavory games of chaos turned them away from him. Becoming increasingly incensed of their choosing not to play with him he eventually became vicious in his temperament and moved to conquer Equestria in revenge, or perhaps to prove his games were fun. Either way he became unconsolable and destructive.

•He developed a selfish, arrogant sense of self in his lifetime of loneliness. He learned to manipulate others through the use of subversive spellwords, otherwise known as Hypnosis, to get his way and keep trapped the participants of his game for as long as he pleased.

•Growing up he was close to his mother, or whatever being closest resembled a mother. He says the Unicorn doll he carries resembles his mother, but in some days he calls it Umikorn and on other Unikrom. They may be separate entities.

•He has perfect control over his Time Magic and is capable of time traveling, stopping time, and twisting it, but had eventually given up on trying to change the course of events, which were set in stone.
